Desmond Tutu’s body lies in state in his old cathedral (photos)


Late Archbishop, Desmond Tutu’s body has arrived at St George’s Cathedral in Cape Town the place it’s going to lie in state for two days.

Tutu, a Nobel Peace Prize winner was instrumental in ending partheid in South Africa and he died on Sunday December 26, aged 90.

His stays shall be laid to rest on January 1st after the lying-in-state interval, allowing mourners to file earlier his body and say their remaining goodbyes.
